The Treasurer's Office is the custodian of all County funds. The Treasurer is the County Investment Officer. Responsibilities include the collection and disbursements of real estate, personal property, mobile home and other taxes, fees and fines; receiving and disbursing welfare and highway monies; paying all County obligations and operating costs; Collecting Deed and Mortgage tax and assisting taxpayer with the State Property Tax Refund Program. The Treasurer’s office also issues Driver’s Licenses and ID’s for the State of Minnesota.
